Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to consumer purchases made through hokatrainers.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order and keep a copy for your records. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

1. Placing an Order

Select your items, choose the required size and complete checkout. Before submitting your order, check the products, quantities, delivery address and total amount.

Please provide accurate contact details so we can communicate with you about payment, dispatch and any issues affecting your purchase.

2. Order Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase the selected goods. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt and does not, by itself, constitute acceptance.

We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation. If items are dispatched separately, acceptance applies to the items identified in each confirmation.

If we cannot accept an order, we will explain the issue and refund any payment collected for the unaccepted items without undue delay.

3. Products and Descriptions

Products must match their description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for any particular purpose you make known to us and we accept.

Images illustrate the products. Screen settings may affect how colours appear, but this does not excuse material differences from the agreed description. Size guides provide guidance; fit can vary between models.

4. Prices and Payment

The applicable currency, item prices, taxes collected at checkout and delivery charges are displayed before you confirm your purchase.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. You must be authorised to use your selected method and complete any required verification.

If we identify a pricing error before acceptance, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel. We will not charge an increased amount without your agreement.

5. Delivery

Delivery destinations, available services and estimated timeframes are provided before purchase.

We will deliver within the agreed period or, if no period has been agreed, without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made. If delivery is late, your legal remedies may include setting an appropriate additional deadline or ending the contract where the statutory conditions are met. GOV.UK

Where we arrange delivery, goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you nominate to receive them. A different rule can apply if you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer. legislation.gov.uk

6. Your Right to Cancel

For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. For one order delivered in separate parcels, this period generally runs from receipt of the last item.

Notify us clearly using the contact details published on the website. You must then send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us. Prior approval is not required.

You may inspect items as you would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

You bear direct return costs only where this was disclosed before purchase and we have not agreed to cover them. Further instructions appear on our Returns and Order Cancellation pages. www.legislation.gov.uk

7. Cancellation Refunds

Refunds are made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory deadline. Unless we offer collection, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first. We will refund within 14 days of that earlier event.

If no goods were supplied, we will refund within 14 days of your cancellation notice. Cancellation of the whole order includes reimbursement of standard outbound delivery charges; additional premium delivery costs need not be refunded.

We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. www.legislation.gov.uk

8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Contact us if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described. Provide your order reference and explain the issue; photographs can assist but are not a condition of your rights.

Qualifying goods generally carry a 30-day short-term right to reject. After that, repair or replacement may apply, followed where appropriate by a price reduction or final rejection. Reasonable necessary return costs for valid claims are our responsibility. Sale items retain the same statutory quality rights as full-price goods. legislation.gov.uk

9. Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights concerning goods remain protected.

10. Changes, Disputes and Contact

Changes to these terms apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively alter existing contracts without a lawful basis or your agreement.

Applicable law and court jurisdiction are determined by the relevant legal rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections or a right to bring proceedings in a court available to you under those rules.

For questions or complaints, use the contact details published on hokatrainers.co.uk and include your order reference.

Before publication, confirm that the order acceptance wording matches your checkout process and that the seller’s legal identity, geographical address and contact details are provided with the required pre-contract information.
